These half round 112mm gutter union connectors are an essential item if you’re installing a plastic system as they are needed to connect the lengths of guttering together and provide a water tight seal.

Fitting a gutter union connector is an easy part of putting up a full system – as the connector essentially replaces a single fascia bracket.

As such, it’s a good idea to account for each union bracket when you’re measuring up for your installation. Your first bracket should be within 150mm of the end of the run – and each subsequent bracket should fall away towards the outlet. When you know how many guttering lengths you’re going to need, you’ll be able to mark the location of the connector – then place your fascia brackets accordingly.

When the time comes to fit your guttering into the connector, you should locate the rear of the gutter section under the lug at the back of the connector – then, with a little downward pressure – the front of the section will snap under the lugs at the front.
