Fitting a coupler

Fitting a connection designed for downpipes couldn’t be simpler. The part is designed with three different internal and external widths. As such, the upper part of the socket takes a 65mm downpipe inside – whereas the bottom section sits inside a 65mm pipe. The middle section is designed to be a shoulder that prevents over-insertion from above or below.

As a result, the part simply pushes into place. If you encounter any resistance, a small amount of silicone sealant will make everything slot together with minimal effort.

Since the part is push-fit – it means maintenance of your system is quick and simple too – even if you need to take the stack to pieces to clean it, remove blockages, or for general maintenance.
