A gutter union bracket is a gutter fitting that’s designed to connect two runs of corresponding gutter lengths. It does this by acting as a square fascia bracket, attaching to the property, then providing watertight open sockets at either end, so your guttering runs can just snap into place.

Fitting a gutter union bracket is a simple part of an overall guttering installation. When you’re measuring for fascia brackets, you’ll be able to include a gutter union bracket instead – where two lengths of guttering need to be joined.

When you come to fit your guttering, you’ll notice there are two small clips or lugs at the front and the rear of the gutter union bracket. You can slide your square gutter under the rear clip – then, supporting the square gutter union, apply a little pressure to the gutter at the front, snapping it into place.
