Sometimes referred to as a ‘downpipe to sewer rubber adaptor’ – these adaptors make it quick and simple to route rainwater directly into the drainage system (or soil stack pipe if required)

The design is simple but extremely effective. The EPDM rubber material the adaptor is made from allows it to snugly fit inside the surface gully or trap. Then the downpipe also fits snugly inside adaptor; creating a clean, tidy and neat sealed solution that directs the flow of water.

Rubber drain adaptors can accommodate both 68mm round downpipes and 65mm square rainwater downpipes. Simply flip it over to suit the type of downpipe you’re working with. As such, you can be confident they’ll be suitable for most jobs – ideal if you decide to keep a few in stock for future jobs or projects.

As well as creating a seal that stops water escaping as it’s directed from rainwater downpipes into the underground drainage pipe system, the adaptor also does an excellent job of making sure debris stays out of your drainage and sewerage system – making the product ideal for areas that are likely to be exposed to building debris, leaves, or other items that could enter the system and cause problems. If you combine the adaptor with suitable protection at the top of the downpipe, you can almost guarantee that you’re keeping unwanted items out of your drainage system.
