Ideal for attaching roofing sheets or cladding sheets to steel. Designed for fixing cladding and sheet metal to light and heavy structural purlins as used when constructing industrial units. These light duty sheet Techfast self drilling screws are also ideal for attaching your industrial guttering to steel sheet up to 5mm thick.
Featuring a No.3 drill tip, these techfast roofing and cladding screws come with an 8mm hex head and a 16mm EPDM rubber washer. The 16mm rubber washer beneath the aluminium flange expands under pressure and forms a permanent weather-seal.
Resistant to fire and corrosion and protected by Elementech corrosion resistant coating. These Techfast screws have also been tested salt spray tested up to 1000 hours. TechFast screws for light section purlins will fix material to purlins between 1.2mm to 3.6mm.
Tested to European inspection and certification standards EN 14566:2008+A1:2009
