If you need to bring 63mm pipe into your soil stack pipe, it’s not always practical or neat to boss into the pipework using strap bosses. A double socket boss pipe give you the option to bring in 3 x 63mm pipes in one short run, keeping your stack neat and tidy.

Fitting

insert the 110mm pipes into the boss pipe, using a solvent cement to secure the joints.

Shoulders within the short boss pipe will prevent 110 mm pipes being over-inserted – which means you can be confident that you won’t inhibit the flow coming from your 63mm runs.

Since this short boss features 1 x open boss and 2 x closed bosses, you’ll need to use the appropriate size holes if you require more than one open boss. When connecting to the boss, you should use 32mm or 40mm rubber boss adaptors to reduce to your required size.

Rubber adaptors allow for a slight variation in approach angle from your 32mm or 40mm pipes too – allowing you to get the required fall into the boss pipe.
