If you need to reduce a 160mm soil pipe into a 110mm pipe, our reducers make the job quick, neat, and easy. Our push fit ring seal reducers are compatible with most leading manufacturers’ systems.

The 110mm end incorporates a ring seal socket – where the 160mm end is plain ended to sit within another fitting or socket. This fitting is also ideal for use with industrial guttering downpipe.

Fitting a reducer to your stack

As is the case with all push fit components, installation is quick and simple – requiring just a minimal amount of plumbing knowledge.

To bring a plain 110mm pipe into the socket, you’ll need to chamfer the end of your pipe to roughly 45-degrees – although if you’re adding a fitting, the end will already be finished accordingly. Lubricate the pipe end using pipe lubricant and then Insert the pipe into the fitting the pull back out very slightly to allow for expansion.

Since you’re likely to be fitting the 160mm end into a further fitting, the end is chamfered already – but may also need a silicone lubricant to connect into your 160mm run.
