Fitting a 160mm pipe bracket

Our brackets are pre-drilled with fixing holes at both sides. If your 160mm run of pipe is being secured vertically, you should use a bracket every 2m (maximum). If you’re securing your pipe vertically, you should ensure brackets secure it every 1m (maximum).

Using a bob or laser-level, mark the required position of your clips before putting your soil stack together. Marking out your clips beforehand means you won’t have drilling access problems when your pipe’s in place.

With your fixings in place, your brackets will slip around the outside of the pipe – and with fixings on the outside, they’ll get everything secured in seconds.

Note – our brackets do not come with fixings – you should chose suitable fixings for the surface you’re securing to.
