Cromar Pro GRP Glass Fibre Matting

With strands bonded with a styrene soluble emulsion binder, this high performance glass fibre chopped strand matting gives a long lasting, strong finish when installed in conjunction with the other products in the system.

This 450gsm matting is designed for roofs that will only have occasional foot traffic and when maintained properly it will offer all weather protection for the life of the roof. This matting offers a rapid wetting process, facilitates thorough air removal and a resin enriched surface finish.

Applying a liquid layer between 500 – 600 microns to a single ply of 450 g/m² of emulsion bound chopped strand mat will help to create a strong structure, which can then be strengthened by using the optimum amount of orthophthalic acid based laminating resin onto 18mm OSB grad 3 board.
