Buy Electrical Warning Marking Tape 150mm x 365m.
1 x roll of electric cable warning tape
Sometimes, a ducting job needs more than just the duct itself. If you’re working with electrical cables, it’s important that you have an underground warning tape to help identify your duct.
At EasyMerchant, we stock this underground warning tape / electrical marking tape to keep you and future tradespeople safe.
How should you use underground warning tape?
This warning tape is to be laid underground above the twin wall electric cable duct to warn people who may be digging that there is an electric cable installed beneath.
Twinwall cable ducting containing electric cable should be buried at a depth of no less than 450mm – and the electric cable should always adhere to the most obvious path, such as a straight line or after the alignment of a footpath, or running parallel to a wall, etc. When installing cable duct in this way a warning tape bearing the text “DANGER ELECTRIC CABLE” should also be laid directly above the duct, just 150mm below surface level.
